RESERVE ACADEMY

Posted 19 days ago I will be starting the reserve academy for my counties sheriff's office this December. I have no gear as of yet. I was wondering if anyone had any old gear that they wouldn't mind donating to help me get started in my career in law enforcement. I currently have my brother's Springfield 9mm XD and am also looking for a holster for it. If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated. thank---- David |

BUMP on that, with as barren as your profile is and the fact that you have been a member for 8 months, there will not be much of a response. i have lorts of surplus gear from various depts. but am not just going to give it away blindly. | Posted 16 days ago just finished posting my bio and getting some head way on this profile of mine. Sorry it's taken so long. I have been extremely busy and look forward to working in law enforcement soon. Any hits on my previous post about the duty gear? |

| Posted 16 days ago 85 I think you'll find two things as you progress in your career. #1 Once cops trust you they will help you out in any way they can. #2 It is very difficult and takes a long time to gain a cops trust. It is not meanness it is self defense. Good luck on you reserve gig. Even as a professional LEO I still get something extra out of being a reserve in another agency. Experience is something you gain just after you've needed it..

Go to this link and post a intro: http://policelink.monster.com/discussions/130-introductions/topics then be more specific in what you need, you will have better luck, just doing a couple of posts and vanishing again is not a way to build trust from the officers on this site.
