Help keep killer of Trooper in prison by sending a letter of opposition to NYS Parole Board

Posted 20 days ago Please help the New York State Troopers PBA keep the killer of New York State Trooper Emerson J. Dillon in prison by sending a letter of opposition to the NYS Parole Board. Trooper Dillon was killed on October 24, 1974 when he stopped a vehicle along the NYS Thruway, unaware the occupants of the vehicle had been involved in a robbery. One of the passengers, John Ruzas, shot and killed Trooper Dillon. Please take a few minutes to send a letter to the Parole Board opposing the release of John Ruzas, who was convicted of second-degree murder. A parole hearing for Ruzas is scheduled for the week of November 16, 2009. The PBA has pre-written this opposition letter, but it can be edited by you to add any further comments, or to remove the first sentence that states "I am a New York State Trooper..." so that your friends and family members can sign a letter as well.
