This scumbag is a child raping animal!  The LA County DA is doing it's job by bringing this criminal to justice!  To hell with the Hollywood liberal jerks! 

I also heard that he didn't even pay the victim all of the money he promised her.  Apparently with interest the amount he owes her now is over $600,000.  And it makes me angry and sad to wonder if she doesn't want the publicity around the case because she still thinks she'll get some more money out of him. 

But nevertheless her civil case has NO BEARING on his criminal case.  He needs to be brought back here to serve the rest of his sentence.  I was pleased to see the Swiss denied him bail so he can't skip the country there.

Two other things I think about:  The girl's mother was never prosecuted even though it was clear she knew what's up and this rape took place at Jack Nicholson's house where apparently A LOT of this kind of thing has gone on.  I remember seeing on a abcnews special or something about a woman that Nicholson beat so badly that she has some permanent brain damage and he was never charged with a crime although he did pay her money.  I never see Jack Nicholson at Laker Games courtside that I don't think of this.

The one thing I hate about this country is that if you are wealthy you can literally get away with anything.  Like murder, O.J. Simpson for example.

And don't get me started on Whoopi Goldberg's "it wasn't rape-rape."  She has a daughter who was pregnant at 14 by an older man.  What does that tell you about her values?  My daughter was not allowed to date guys more than two years older than she was and not allowed to single date until she was 16.  I guess we just didn't have enough money or fame to raise her the right way, huh?

Sometimes it is not about the protection of just one victim.  This guy needs to face justice, regardless of the victims opionion.  So the next rapist piece of filth does not think he can run off, get old and get off.  The fact that this is even up for conversation makes me want to puke.  They should have had this POS locked up years ago.  This scum bag thinks he deserves better than others.  Shame on that previous judge for telling him anything other than "get your ass back to the US and then we will allow negotiations."  Can't give these jokers an inch.         

Exactly.  And just think...he's had 35 years in Europe where in some countries 13 is the age of consent.

Polanski commits a crime by giving a thirteen year old half a qualude and alcohol. he then has multiple sexcapades with the victim. he spent 47 days in jail while he was "evaluated " by a psych. dr. the judge may have reneged on a "conversation" he had with polanski and his lawyer , and polanski flee's the country for 32 years. now hollywood is up in arms and the victim has said she feels polanski's 47 days were sufficient for his "deeds". - she does not want attention directed at her and she settled for a large sum of money. (sort of like michael jackson's victims).

this jerk needs to serve his time for his crime !
