Posted 2 months ago Hey everyone, since I want to get into the police forces im looking at guns (not my arms haha). What is a good gun to use if I have never used one and this is my first time?

| Posted 2 months ago allright, i'll take a shot at this, GET ON LINE AND LOCATE A LOCAL SHOOTING RANGE OR NRA CENTER TO REGISTER TO TAKE A FIREARMS SAFETY AND AWARENESS COURSE...LET EDUCATION GUIDE YOU INTO THE WORLD OF WEAPONS AND HELP YOU MAKE AN EDUCATED CHOICE AS TO 'GUNS". |

| Posted about 1 month ago since there's so much involved in weapons training mainly safety,,,,, a good course in gun safety followed by instruction in weapons tactics.... way more than I care to write in this reply.. Mikiesplace advice is right on..... very good advice... just do yourself a favor and just get references and I am sure you'll be happy.......... : ) |

| Posted about 1 month ago May I ask why do you think guns have anything to do with being a good cop, a hand gun is a tool of the job and nothing more, my advice young man is to continue your education, plan your career very well before thinking the use of the last part of your tool belt is the job, my best! | Posted about 1 month ago I have to agree with Ralph, stay in school. Whenyou get an oppurtunity to be accepted into the police academy, they'll teach you everything you need to know about guns. |
