How to shutdown a Trailer Park ??

Posted over 2 years ago As some of you know my neighbors and I have been having problems with the local trailer park that moved into our area several years ago. Lately things have gone from bad to worse: cars flying down the road, load bass music, gangs, drug dealers, dogs barking, loud yelling, cursing, fighting, etc. We usually have to wear ear plugs during the weekends to get any sleep at night! Sincerely,

| Posted over 2 years ago You need to contact your local alderman, or county supervisor and have everyone that has a problem with the TP contact them as well. |

| Posted over 2 years ago Is there any health or building safety concerns with the trailer park? If so, health department or code enforcement. They are another resource, outside of criminal law enforcement, that could do something if there is a problem "up their alley." 1* |

| Posted over 2 years ago A few facts that might help: our town and county finally have a sound ordinance that no one seems to know about, they are just outside the city limits, owner lives in town away from the noisy park, they have 2 or 3 trailers per acre, they have 3 trailers per septic tank, they are directly next to the water tower, they think the road is a drag strip, they have lots of stray dogs, etc. Sincerely,

| Posted over 2 years ago I can't really say much about this yet except a constable friend (who will be running for sherriff) "borrowed" serveral of my security camera tapes "as evidence" against a few tenants in that tailer park. It appears the town and county are aware of the "situation" and want them gone as well... crackdown at the trailer park soon? I hope so... just found out there are 4 trailers per septic tank all around the water tower. Glad I stopped drinking the tap water and switched to buying bottled water for the past few years. Sincerely,

| Posted over 2 years ago Niners thats funny but mean. Joey, let it ride out. If the county is aware of it, and your friend who is running for sheriff, they will take care of it. Michael Vick |

| Posted over 2 years ago I watched all the videos and read the previous forum. I built my dream house about 9 years ago on land I inhereted. Great view of the Smokey Mountains. My idiot cousin set up a trailer park on the adjoining property he got. After four years, I gave up and sold this house I had personally designed and built from the ground up on land which had been in my family since the Civil War. It broke my heart, but we are a lot happier now and my children are safe. Just a thought I wanted to share.

| Posted over 2 years ago Also, our 68 acres can be considered our home and business (inventory of vehicles, parts, equipement, etc.) as such we've setup several cameras and motion sensor lights everywhere - and have warning signs posted all along the property boundary fence. From what I have been told by LEO friends, that is perfectly legal... if they do not want to be filmed then they should move. Sincerely,
