| Posted 3 months ago I just hope that Maryjo Kopechne is waiting at the Pearly Gates for him with the news that he is in the wrong place and needs to turn around. My sympathies for the Kennedy family dried up years ago! "If everyone is thinking alike, someone isn't thinking."

| Posted 3 months ago That all sounds sweet and maybe I would have fallen by the waste side with this love fest of good old Teddy, he lost me the day he left that poor girl to die in HIS car, he used his name position and fortune to walk away from the law, so as I invented this thread I still say may he find Maryjo at the gates of heaven asking for admittance!

| Posted 3 months ago Mary Jo Kopechne is buried in a cemetary by my mom's town in Pennsylvania. I have visited her gravesite...wonder how many times Teddy came by to pay his respects. That would be never, since in that town, it would be big news. Sayonara slob. |

| Posted 2 months ago Retleo, those photos were very funny. I was hesitant to look up the link for Edward Kennedy, as I imagined there would be many saying how sad they were etc... as over here in the U.K., the newspapers certainly showed americans (men!) passing his coffin and appearing in tears. As I come from Northern Ireland I did not have sympathy for him. He was a great pal of some of the Main bad guys that would go once a year to New York, and helped them in raising about 2 million dollars in a night's sitting for the IRA terrorists.(but we are not allowed to call them terrorists because they cleverly say they were fighting for their country - which helped in getting an out of jail free card), Big businessmen that maybe had an ounce of irish blood in them, or thought they had, would pay over 5,000 dollars for their St.Patrick's night entertainment - and if lucky would have Ted Kennedy introduce them to whatever representatives that were there for the annual party in New York. So like many in the past, I expect there will be an airport named after him?... Or better still, if not a bridge Bless all you guys. I am going to bed now, but felt I had to type this. Will drag my wife now (with some effort), away from the late night television we have imported from you....lol. (american wife swap) |
