Female chain gang, learning to work together, earn extra days, no expensive makeup. What could possibly go wrong?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with female chain gangs.  The work is not that hard or strenueous.  It's just humiliating. And, humiliation is gender neutral.

I was watching a special about Sheriff Joe's accomplishments. Many people don't realize that the chain gangs are volunteer only. Many prisoners like having the opportunity to get outside the prison walls, even at the cost of humiliation. The idea behind it is that the prisoners realize what they are missing (and in turn chose to change their lives), the community see's criminals working off their debt to society, and the outcome benifits the general public.

I have seen it on more than one occassion.... Judge sentences someone to 90 days in jail and he/she says on the way out the door...  I CAN DO THAT STANDING ON MY HEAD.  Get back to the jail, they call their friends/family and have money put on books for commissary and treat it like a day at the spa.

U go Joe...  Make is miserable on them.  Make them get out of jail, go home and pack their stuff cussing you the whole time because they don't want to take the chace of living there and going to jail EVER again.
