| Posted almost 4 years ago Last time I checked, my job description specifically stated that I was to enforce federal and state laws as well as municipal ordinances. I can't remember the last time I saw a listing for a peace officer that didn't say something to the same effect. I wish more administrators were like Sheriff Arpaio. |

| Posted almost 4 years ago If every Sheriff in America had the balls that Sheriff Joe Arpaio had we would not be worried about the IRS, FBI, etc. busting down our doors illegally. Things at Ruby Ridge, Waco, etc. would be different. Sheriff Arpaio is not afraid of the government and that is the type of elected officials we need, ones that protect the people and stand for the rights of the people. When a LEO or Sheriff takes their oath: On my honor, This should mean something. Sheriff Arpaio knows this, he did not just say the words, he lives them. I agree, he need to run for President. Can you see it, first order of business, we lock the doors of the House and Senate, pitch some tents, place guards around the tents and they they all, "We are not leaving until we fix this mess you created, you have a problem with this, my desk is right here, resign" God be with you Sheriff Arpaio... |

By shifting the Sheriff's office to appointment rather than election, they'll get to appoint their own hacks and strip yet more power from the people.

The government has a system of checks and balances that the people are supposed to be able to sway. If more people like Sheriff Joe stood up and put the government back in place, we would not have to worry about all the issues we have right now, and we could get the government back to working for us!!!!!
