Why the heck would someone NOT register with them now? They are not going to call anyone up. That just shows a lack of responsibility to me, much less a lack of patriotism. I firmly believe everyone should serve their country in some form or another for a minimum of two years. For those who want to be LEO's they should be regular military and no CO's. If you are a CO with the military then you are one in a local para-military like the police and I don't want you one the front line with me. The decision is yours and must be an honest one that you make and I will think no less of you when your serve, just not on the front line where you may have to kill someone to protect me or another person.
