Posted almost 6 years ago No, but I've read about it in "Law Enforcement Technology" magazine. I can only WISH that we had it.

| Posted almost 6 years ago (Non LEO) But the officers here in Salt Lake City uses them up town... They do sound pretty neat though.... “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent”

Posted almost 6 years ago (Non LEO too) We have them in chicago, but the police dont use them, to my knowledge. The department of Revenue uses them to find cars that need to be booted.

Posted almost 6 years ago We have two vehicles like that in Chicago. Each district gets to use them for a month or so while the city decides if they'll buy more. It works very well. Plate info comes back fast.

Posted almost 6 years ago Revenue uses the camera to find people with unpaid parkers so they can boot the vehicle. I don't think they get hot or cold, never heard Revenue contact the police to do recoveries.
