I was watching Chris Hansen's show on TV the other day. It is shocking to me to see how much resources are wasted in this show. Common how many police officers do we need to arrest them? Is this a good way to utilize resources?

A show of force (presents) reduces the likely hood one becoming violent or running. Also, its not only one arrest. More are on the way and there's more to processing one of these cases than meets the eye. You don’t see the 2 - 4 hours plus spent on paperwork alone / per arrest. Necessary..
