| Posted about 5 years ago Both great guns but the sig.....oh man - *LOVE* the way that 229 fits in my hand! .40 S&W 180 grain - has a hair of recoil, but the weight of the gun helps compensate for that...would not trade it for the world |

| Posted about 5 years ago I own a Sig, I'm looking to buy a Glock. I love them both but they have different qualities. My Sig is a P226 chambered in 9mm. I absolutely love it! That gun is my favorite to shoot especially in SA, the pull is smooth and staying on target after a shot is really easy. I like the Glock for the trigger pull is consistent through out and the reliability of them. I have shot a few and there growing on me. None the less, I would use both, I guess it would depend on the mood I was in.... I don't laugh in death's face. I tend to make belittling comments and snigger behind death's back. |

| Posted almost 5 years ago You can't beat a GLOCK. I own three of them, a model 21,23, and 32. I have fired thousands of rounds through all of them and never had a single problem. This of course in just my opinion, I know there are alot of die hard 1911 guy's out there but I have had bad experiences with others, but never a Glock. I just purchased a S&W 5906 9mm for the range which was a big step for me. Haven't had any problems yet and I actually enjoy shooting it. |

I carry a Sig229 I am told salt water will rust them if not cleaned daily and that I should start carrying my glcok any suggestions or comments??? Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.

| Posted almost 5 years ago I absolutely love my glocks. I have shot both guns and I will take the glock anyday, anytime. But to interject, I am finding myself falling for the springfield xd-45. Its an incredible weapon I'd put up against either firearm. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I carry a Sig MDL 220 it is a great weapon but I did purchase 2 Glock MDL 22 for our Reserve Deputies. They are all a quality weapon it is just what you want and how much you want to pay. Besides you can clean the Glock in the dishwasher. LOL Bad stuff happens to good people, handle it and overcome.

| Posted over 4 years ago There both good brands, I like them both. When it comes down it it’s a personal choice, it’s how comfortable you feel with the gun, and it’s about trust. Both are well made, both are durable, any officers are gun lover will really never have to worry about failures in functions with proper cleaning. I prefer the Glock because it’s a brand that I was first introduced to; personally my favor guns are a FN 57 and HK USP tactical. I enjoyed reading the response, going to look at a few Sigs after I get the USP. | Posted over 4 years ago Ok, friends, this one has run a longer course than the presidential campaigns. Conclusion: Glocks and Sigs are good guns. As long as the bullet comes out the open end when intended and hits the target intended, then it's a good gun. That's all folks. One year of discussion and this one is now closed and locked.
