| Posted almost 6 years ago What? Could you define the parameters of this question, as well as clarify its primary focus? |

| Posted almost 6 years ago I don't even see how that relates to the first question. Are you asking in the background checks for LE Candiates are especially thorough? |

| Posted almost 6 years ago 10 years in the dept of corrections and a very clean record I would like to get out into the field instead of babysitting adults and minors. It's like they're looking for more, that's not there. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago They may just simply have candidates they like better, or it is possible that the BG check turned up something inconclusive and they are digging around for an answer one way or the other. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago What is there to like better? Avg is 90, I'm in great shape, I don't hang out with the wrong people, and I take care of my family the #1 thing to do. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago Without knowing the ENTIRE candidate pool I cannot make a fair judgment. Like I said, it could be as simple as there was something inconclusive about the BG check and so they are looking for a resolution either way. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago No problem. Without access to the report, I am really only making a cautious guess, but my advice for you is not to worry. Right now the situation is entirely out of your hands, so don't fret it if you don't have to. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago I worked as a background investigator with my department and there are many reasons why you may be waiting to get into a class.

| Posted almost 6 years ago Xavier ... Have you looked into your own background? When I applied to be a police dispatcher, I was lucky enough to have personally handed my application to the Communications Supervisor. When they did a background on me the had a possible match, but he was sitting in a prison for drug trafficing! Since then I have had to go to the state police and have fingerprint background ... they have supplied me with a letter to hand into every employer or anyone who would do a background investigation on me. Every 2 years the Dept of Homeland Security has to do a background check on us to update my suitablity package ... I even have to submitt the letter from the state police, every 2 years, I did my own background investigation, one problem has the same first, last, middle name, and birthday. The other has the same first and last name, ans every number but 2 of the first 3 numbers of his SS# are the same!
