Posted 5 months ago I did not pass the written exam for the Buffalo Grove PD, yet I answered my questions truthfully. Was I supposed to pick everything related to Law Enforcement, because I doubt it. I was given a choice between A or B: A. Be independent and work outdoors B. Work with machinery, operate trucks, lifts, cranes C. If I could NOT choose from the two given The rest of the written exam consisted of mug shots and reading comprehension which I know without a doubt that I did good on. I'm not that discouraged, but right now I'm thinking of what went wrong with the personality part Insight from LEO's would be much appreciated. Thank You! |

| Posted 5 months ago Don't worry Alan. Keep at it. Some of these tests are off the wall. Just because you trained for something, doesn't mean you're prepared for it. - Anonymous

| Posted 5 months ago I took the Ried Report Personality assesment once for a security company I worked for. We were seeing if we wanted to start using it or not. We made two exact copies of my test. We put my name on one copy and another name on the other copy. The answers were identical. One came back as recommended. The other came back as not recommended. So there you have my opinion of "personality assesment tests." Experience is something you gain just after you've needed it..

| Posted 5 months ago It was like one of the easiest exams I've ever taken, my answers in the assessment portion of the written exam were also consistent throughout the whole thing. Is there the possibility that some questions are worth more points than others or what?
