Hi everyone I just got my letter today informing me of my first oral interview and physical exam with SFPD .  I'm wondering if i could get some pointers on getting through the oral interview. The physical part will be a cake walk . Any genreal tips would help and anything SFPD specific would really help.

Thanks Kenny.

Be honest. Do not try and give the answers you think they want. Give the answer you feel best represents you.

Yeah thats what I figured. A friend of mine had an interview with Santa Cruz and he said pretty much same thing. He also said one of the officers at the interview kept trying to get him to second guess himself. Is that normal for these interviews and something I should look out for?

The reason the officer tried to get your friend to second guess himself was to see if he was stating his opinion, rather than what he felt the interviewers wanted to hear.
