Posted about 4 years ago Theirs a union rep job opening soon in my company and another union rep tells me she thinks I should go for it. My only problem is I don’t know if their are any repercussions for being a union rep in the future. Will employers, especially police departments, want to hire an ex union rep? Is it a prestigious job? Anybody know if it pays well? (I will find this one out anyways but just curious) Also can being a union rep lead to other advanced positions? |

Being a union rep shouldn't hurt your chances of being an LEO at all....as far as "advanced possitions" all I can say is maybe with the union another job might arise. |
