I attended a tea party in Colorado Springs, CO yesterday.  About 1,000 people showed up and it was very classy and peaceful.  I counted 3 ACORN nuts trying to spoil the fun. People just ignored them and they eventually left.  I was so sick of the biased news coverage about the events that took place across the country.  My sense is the news media and the Dems are very scared of what they see -- the beginning of a real grassroots movement that threatens not just Obama, but the liberal/Dem agenda.

Keep the faith!  Keep the fire of healthy debate going, and VOTE these knuckleheads out of office!

Always nice to meet another Tea party participant.  We were just talking about the tea parties in the Glen Beck forum.  We need to start a new Media outlet..

I thank my lord for Fox news cable here in Colombia, I watch my news station every day and let me say I almost laid an egg with the anti fox, and tea party activities played at the national Obama news stations in the U.S.A. my God what's happening to my country?

And the media says they didn't cover the tea parties because it wasn't a big event. Mayday had a smaller outcome then any of the tea parties and yet the media did a story on them.

And how about the recent proposition outcome in Calif?  Five tax increase proposals on the ballot and all five were defeated by an average of 2 to 1!  Every county, including the most liberal ones, voted the tax hikes down.  What did the media say?  That the voters are stupid and don't realize what they've done!  I think this event -- when added to the nationwide tea party protests -- suggests there is a whole lot of discontent bubbling under the surface, and if our elected officials don't get a clue soon, they will all be out on the street.  God I hope!
