| Posted about 4 years ago Some are inquisitive, until I reveal some detailed encounter of the vicious type. They distance themselves after that for some reason. For the most part, the same. Been a year or two since i've been at it, so it's nothing new to them. |

| Posted about 4 years ago as the wife, his work is his main focus but I've learned to deal with it quite well and he's on call 365 days a year 24/7, so even when he's off, he's on call and things are always unpredictable. The kids and I do great with it. I love it when he goes away for trainings . It's the one time I can sleep peacefully without any interruptions of any type. I think some of us are just built to deal with people who work as officers, etc. and some have to learn in time. I find to just do things by myself works a whole lot better if I just function without him on my own with me and the kids. When he's home, he's home, when he's not, he's not. |
