Yes folks it's true. The President of the United States BOWED to the Saudi King! Can you believe it! I've seen the picture and it made me want to throw up! An American President BOWING to a Saudi King! The Revolutionary War was fought so that NO AMERICAN would ever have to BOW to a King or Queen again! It's funny that he didn't BOW to Queen Elizabeth, who is a Christian monarch but yet he BOWED to Saudi King Abdullah, a Muslim monarch! What up here folks? This man has shamed the Office of the President of the United States. If you want to see the picture just go to Google and type in " Obama Bows to Saudi King". It's right there! Disgusting! |

| Posted about 4 years ago To add insult to injury, the White House has been trying to blow this off as 'he is so tall that he had to bend over in order to shake the King's hand'! They really believe the American public is that stupid! The video is very clear. Do you think you will see him apologizing any time soon? For either the act or the lie attempting to cover it up? Don't hold your breath. |

Ever since he took office BO appears to me to have been seeking favor (sounds better than suck up to) foreign leaders, especially mid-eastern ones. Since he like to be popular with foreigners, I wish he would try to be more popular with all Americans. |

| Posted about 4 years ago No action occurs without thought so I started to wonder why B.O. did not bow to the queen yet did bow to the king. A little research and a possible answer: England id a Christian (mostly) nation. Saudi Arabia is considered at 100% MUSLIM! Go figure T.G.G.

I believe that the White House believes the American public is that stupid, since when did the White House let reality interfear with it's beliefs. BO ought to be happy with this video, it is sure getting shown a lot. The latest story I heard was that he had to bend over since he used both hands in the handshake, something you can see is not true on the video. It is hard to spin things when the video doesn't show your spin. |

But then again, the liberal media cried out for a less agressive foriegn policy. This is what we got. A President kow-towing to a foreign ruler. Not a leader, a ruler. There is no question that the guy is a Chicago politician and that my friends tells you exactly how stupid America is by electing one of them as President. |

His first news interview as President was with Al-Arabia, he states to the world that we Americans are arogant and he bows to the King of Saudi Arabia....But he can’t deal with four pirates in a row boat... In the muslim world, that is a sign of weakness or defeat. Obama should have known this, or maybe he did know this and is trying to tell us all something. It makes me sick that we are now precieved to be weak to the muslim world. Hey pres, how does that look to all the troops over in Iraq fightind to survive and come home? | Posted about 4 years ago I am very embarrassed and yes even ashamed that our President violated protocol to the Queen of England and not only did not even slightly bow to the Queen but both he and the First Lady pawed Her Majesty which is a huge no-no. During his very same overseas visits he bows and kisses the ring of a Saudi Prince. While there pirates attack a US Flagged ship and while the brave crew fought back and re-took control of their vessel, the pirates took the Captain prisoner. What did Obama say about this? Nothing! What did the Sec. of State say? She laughed and said this has been going on for centuries and negations will work it out as always! Wrong! The Barbary Pirates had their asses kicked by our US Marines and THAT is what ended them. Now they have send the FBI over there to 'talk' to them. While they were in charge the Captain bravely escaped and while he was clear of the pirates, instead of blowing them out of the water, they had to sit by and watch them shoot at and recapture the Capt.!! LET THE NAVY TAKE CARE OF IT! They will and should attack and kill these pirates. We have SEALs that I have no doubt will be very happy to sneak up on these pirates and take them out while saving this brave Capt. |

You are absolutely correct. His behavior overseas thus far has been horrifying. The really remarkable aspect to this is the reaction, or lack thereof, of the Media. The US/UK Media "Obama-gasms" continue unabated. Imagine what their reaction would have been if President Bush had pulled these gaffes. I agree Ralph but I don't believe Obama did NOT show her the respect due. IF I were a monarch I might feel miffed that the Saudi King got a bow and I didn't but as Americans we aren't REQUIRED to bow as the Queen's "subjects" are not required either. The aides to the Queen don't even brief visiting dignitaries on whether or not to touch the Queen. GENERALLY, from what I've learned, if the Queen offers her hand it would be considered very disrespectful to NOT take it but they should preferably touch it briefly or hold very gently but not shake (don't do, "Howdy ma'am, how 'ya doin' "). lol As to the "major" touching by the Queen and Michelle Obama, the Queen initiated it and Michelle responded. The "hug" lasted a moment and surprised the Queens Ladies in Waiting as they had never seen it happen before. The Queen's official statement was basically so what. So far as she was concerned there was NO breach of protocol. So if she doesn't care, why all the fuss? As Bart would say, "Don't have a cow man." What I say is, "Much ado about nothing" regarding the Queen item. |
