Brothers and sisters my stomach aches and my heart hurts as I write this message. This morning in yet another deadly bloodshed in Pittsburgh, PA we lost three fellow Officers and two are fighting for their lives.

This is just breaking news so the details are very sketchy at this time. To view the article posted by the Pittsburgh Channel 4 news copy and paste the following link. www.thepittsburghchannel.com/news/19094064/detail.html

Brothers and sisters I am at a loss for words...I will forward any information as it becomes available.

I will forward more information as it becomes available.

I will also forward the memorial information as it becomes available. I will be attending these services (I live and work only an hour and half outside of Pittsburgh) and would like to know (when the information comes available) who else will be able to attend so we can meet up.

I am truly sick this morning. Over the past week we have lost a brother...Bridgeport Texas Police Sgt. Randy White was pulling over a pickup hauling a flatbed trailer, trying to get it off the road to prevent a potential injury, when the suspect’s vehicle slammed into his patrol car from behind, city spokeswoman Amber Fogelman said. The patrol car did not catch fire but was crumpled, and White died at the scene. Police Chief Randy Singleton said it appeared from the preliminary investigation that the driver “intentionally rammed into the officer at a high rate of speed.” The suspect has been charged with capital murder and was being held on $1 million bond, the Wise County Sheriff’s Office said.

Friday a gunman who was upset about losing his job entered an immigration center in NY killing 13 people then cowardly taking his own life.

God Bless each and every one of you...PLEASE continue to be safe and watch each other’s backs

PITTSBURGH — A man opened fire on officers during a domestic disturbance call Saturday morning, killing three of them, a police official said. Friends said he feared the Obama administration was poised to ban guns.

Three officers were killed, said a police official at the scene who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media. Police spokeswoman Diane Richard would only say that at least five officers were wounded, but wouldn't give any other details.

Police planned to release more details at a mid-afternoon news conference Saturday.

The man who fired at the officers was arrested after a several-hour standoff. One witness reported hearing hundreds of shots.

The shootings occurred just two weeks after four police officers were fatally shot March 21 in Oakland, Calif., in the deadliest day for U.S. law enforcement since Sept. 11, 2001.

Police did not immediately release the gunman's identity, but his friends at the scene described him as a young man who thought the Obama administration would ban guns.

One friend, Edward Perkovic, said the gunman feared "the Obama gun ban that's on the way" and "didn't like our rights being infringed upon." Another longtime friend, Aaron Vire, said he feared that President Obama was going to take away his rights, though he said he "wasn't violently against Obama."

Perkovic, a 22-year-old who said he was the gunman's best friend, said he got a call at work from him in which he said, "Eddie, I am going to die today. ... Tell your family I love them and I love you."

Perkovic said: "I heard gunshots and he hung up. ... He sounded like he was in pain, like he got shot."

Vire, 23, said the gunman once had an Internet talk show but that it wasn't successful. Vire said his friend had an AK-47 rifle and several powerful handguns, including a .357 Magnum.

Another friend, Joe DiMarco, said the suspect had been laid off from his job at a glass factory earlier this year. DiMarco said he didn't know the name of the company, but knew his friend had been upset about losing his job.

The officers were called to the home in the Stanton Heights neighborhood at about 7 a.m., Richard said.

Tom Moffitt, 51, a city firefighter who lives two blocks away, said he heard about the shooting on his scanner and came to the scene, where he heard "hundreds, just hundreds of shots. And not just once — several times."

Rob Gift, 45, who lives a block away, said he heard rapid gunfire as he was letting his dog out.

He said the neighborhood of well-kept single-family houses and manicured lawns is home to many police officers, firefighters, paramedics and other city workers.

"It's just a very quiet neighborhood," Gift said.

Good Lord! Not only did this idiot take out three of our brothers, but he gave Obama even MORE reason to restrict our access to firearms.

Rest in peace, brethren.

We will absolutely be attending. We are a bordering town of the City of Pittsburgh.  We know these guys and thier families.  This is a sad and tragic and senseless event.

Rest in peace Brothers.

Lets also keep our injured brothers in our thoughts and prayers. This will be especially difficult for them also, even after thier physical wounds heal...

Rest in Peace Brothers! This should have never have happened . I am truely sorry about this next statement and hopefully will not offend anyone , but I hope the PIECE OF SHIT ROTS IN HELL and dies a slow painful death. Unlike other states that have BALLS he will sit in jail the rest of his life lifting weights, watching cable tv, eating three meals a day. God Forbid if they would ever execute some low life scum of the earth!

God Bless our fallen brothers!  It makes me sick to my stomach, but makes me proud to be in the LE family and associated with these heroes.  My prayers are with the family, friends and co-workers of these brave angels.

I'm at a loss for words today.  I've been trying to think of a response to this senseless act, but haven’t been able to come up with any.   My heart aches for the families of the my fallen Pittsburgh PA P.D. brothers that lost their lives doing their job, serving their community, and brining justice to those that would cross the line.

I think of the families of my fallen Oakland P.D. brothers, and the many, many other local, state, and federal law enforcement Officers that have laid down their lives for their fellow man.

Be safe in what you do, cover each other, and say a prayer for your partner tonight.

I just wanted to extend my thank you to all the police men and women out there who put their lives on the line.  I live in the City of Pittsburgh and it is so sad that people are now shooting down our officers. Not only here, but all over. The police presence at the memorials was overwhelming! You came from all across the nation to show your support and the City of Pittsburgh felt the support!

Thank you all and be safe out there!

God Bless you all!

Rest in peace fallen Pittsburg officers, prayers for their famlies and fellow officers and the community of Pittsburg.  Also prayers of healing and recovery for the injured officers.
