Posted over 5 years ago I would like to talk to a detective that does investigations invoving internet chat rooms and sexual preditors contacting childern. Or who they think are childern. I have interviewed and investigated sex offences and offenders some involing children but its been awhile. I am getting lots of information off the net. Articles etc., Has anything really changed? I am up for a new position and need an update so to speak. There are several interviewing classes which one is best? Any advise passed on is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Brian |

| Posted over 5 years ago Any interviewing class by Reid and Associates. They seem to have a number of specialized topics, and their method of theme development makes for good interviews. "You can't lead from behind" Gen'l James Longstreet, CSA |

| Posted over 5 years ago Contact the US Secret Service. They have one of the best schools I have ever attended on this topic. They also have a lot of resource information such as software and scripts they will furnish you for free. The training is free also. |

| Posted about 5 years ago I attended a Wicklander Zulwalski course. It was great, but I think it depends on the instructor. The good thing about WZ is they teach The Reid Method, because Wicklander helped Reid create the method, but they expound on it and teach their non-confrontational interviewing as well. My instructor was a retired Chicago cop, who is now a Lt. in Arizona. Another one of our Det's had a diff. instructor and he didn't like his class. |
