| Posted almost 6 years ago what was your moms relationship with mike, how long did she know him, and in what capacity. how long has your mom been married?, whos opinoin does your mom cherish? how old is your mom ?, who did she tell this story to first?, who was second? dose your moms parents still live and if so are they close? how many close friends does your mother have,? where was you mom and friends hanging out at? where does your mom work? if so how long? what does you dad do for a living,? is his parents living? does your mom get along well with the inlaws? does you mom take any prescription meds or been diagnosed with any mental or physcial problems,? what is her education level? take time to respond make sure your not being bias, and know for sure when answering, dont give out anything you dont wont others to know. no names or locations, or medical facilitys.just what you know for sure, also how many kids, who is the oldest and the youngest. does she have any siblings, and if so how do they get along?? |

| Posted almost 6 years ago jonss, there is a book called "Silent Grief", which is for people who have lost someone to suicide. You might get hold of that for your mom. Or, you could call around and see if there is a suicide survivors' support group in your area. And, listen, listen, listen. And do it without judging. It is real typical for survivors to feel guilty, even if they don't have anything to feel guilty about-- and it doesn't help to tell them not to feel it. Similarly, it is very typical for them to feel angry-- but that may also increase their guilty feelings. But these are really common reactions to suicide. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago I recently applied for a position asd a police officer with the Atlanta Police Department. After doing all that was required for me to do by my recuiter my application was sent "upstairs" as my recuiter stated. Four weekes passed and I heard nothing from them. I called one day out of the week for the past four weeks. On Friday I received a letter stating that my application is no longer under consideration for hiring, the reason Command Review. I have attempted to contact my recuiter and two other background investigators of Atlanta attempting to understand whats going on. However no one will return my calls. I need to know so that I can find out if I can still work to reach my goal as to become a poilice officer or is there something that I can do or correct so that when I do re-apply my outcome will be what I want.....HELP ME... |

| Posted almost 6 years ago thats typical of atl, i dont think you really want to start out there. try a different department somewere close then try again later after your established. |
