I have a ton of cop friends but the best cop friend has to be greg bolen he is so kool

I have quite a few good LEO friends, most I went to high school with. I dont take advantage of it as I only see them seldomly...like maybe once every few years but I do make the effort to make friends with any LEO I come into contact with while on duty at my job. I say that because that may be the officer to come give me backup should I need it. We patrol a reservation and we got alot of calls and trust me, the local deputies we work along side with, are there for us when we need them. So, its not a bad idea to make friends with them when you come into contact.
Funny irony in this post, I was at the dry cleaners last week dropping off my uniforms and this guy behind me was picking up his. I turned to look at him and he asked "Dont I know you from somewhere" I said "You sure do" and told him where I worked. I also told him he looked very familliar as well and when he picked up his deputy uniform, I knew I had placed him right. Just a funny irony in the question on the topic of this post.

If only some LEO's thought the same as onefineofficer. I am sure criminal activity would be reduced to an even greater minimum. It seems there is a lot of "JOB SNOBBERY" where some LEO's are concerned. But as a serving LEO myself, i value the relationship i have with some SO's on my beat, and know they are my first point of contact in a lot of situations. And i have become friends with quite a few in my time as an LEO, because of the professionalism they have displayed. I often try and persuade them to become LEO's as some would no doubt be a great asset to the force.
