The Judge is NOT fit to rule on any cases, so she should be FIRED and the officer should be able to sue her. Any of us would be fired for less than what she did.

Her being black is no excuse and in my opinion, that makes what she did even worse and there should be an example set here. She should be held to at least the standards that all of us are held to, and she was also driving drunk.

No the punishment is not steep enough for the slanderous actions the judge performed towards the Trooper. Too many pats on the back in courtrooms are the leading factor for increase crime offenses...A drunken criminal trying to justify other criminals is not ethical.

After reading the news story about her arrest I can only say that I am glad that there were police cameras present during the incident, otherwise we might be seeing her in court claiming "Racism" against the officers involved.  This judge is a total embarrassment to the judicial system and her lame excuse of not realizing what she was saying because she was "Drunk" do not fly on any level.  Her credibility and professionalism are shot.  She should have been dismissed from her judgeship, not just suspended.  You can rest assured that if it had been a LEO caught on tape making those types of comments he/she would be collecting an unemployment check as we speak.  Shame of the state's Judicial Review Board for not firing her instead of suspending her.

Bump!

This judge now has a permanent stigma of  a "lack of intergity" and "loss of character." She will be the appelate lawyer's wet-dream from now on (assuming she still sits on the bench).

She is old enough and had a position high enough to have known better than to say such things or to do as she did.

Definetly not enough time.

I wrote a lenghtly reply to this incident after reading/reviewing the video. I feel that she should be removed from the bench because her credibility is gone because of her actions.

Judges whether Superior, Municipal or other, Attorney and  Law Enforment Officers are and should be held to a HIGHER statndard then your lay person and shoyuld be beyond REPROACH because their decision can change a person (s) life drastically.

Take heart good compatriots-in-arms:  Soon, very soon, the white man (officer) will be an officially recognized minority.  The silly us-versus-them push-pull of racial considerations and preferences will dissolve and logic will reign then forevermore.  This pathetic (former) judge's tirade would have zero affect, her detainers instead attributing the illogical performance to symptoms of mental disorder and said creature reassigned to fast food preparation.

i am at a loss for words!

I believe if that was someone else of another race, that person would not have a job. But because they are both the same race, they give her a slap on the wrist.  Being an African American female, I feel she got off with a little bump. She should be ashamed of herself. People have lost their jobs for less than what she has done. I say FIRE her! I was born and raised in CT. and she makes me ashamed of her!

I think she should remove of the judge, since she has been arrest for dui.  The bar board should find new the judge replace her burn seat out .  It is fair with other people arrest for dui straight to jail or lost job.  Should same thing about her.
