War is hell, but it happens and politics are crap, the men however are not............they serve for their family, future and country, they don't give a hoot if your rep or dem. they just want to help the hopeless and come home. leaves much to be desired here............

Don't misunderstand...I have no problems with this war. Even if I did would not say so on this site. Soldiers pray for peace, but preare for war. Pray for your brother and all veterans that they can return home safely, I do. But I am ready to go back when I am needed to fullfill whatever mission is asked of me and I will remain ready as long as i wear this uniform.

Enough about "war" I have been twice, now my career is ending because of it,....what about the LEO's that are facing the suburban wars in the United States everyday. They are just as much heros as the veterans are.

Who are you, why don't you post some information about yourself?

Disciplined....HELL YES -- I come from a loooong line of military...I did not serve, but everyone from grandparents, to cousins have...some right now in the desert. Most in the Army, some the Navy, some the Marines or Air Force.....they have to know discipline to survive, whether it is this war, the war in VietNam (Dad served 2 tours) or the Korean War....or the vets in the World Wars that have preceded us...they were not brainwashed, they knew discipline in order to have the best chance to survive!

Great post, bettter yet send them to walter reed in D.C. where the real war vets are. I've been to war in some pretty f'ed up places, been shot at and blown up on a daily basis for a year pretty much. Don't speak of that which you do not know. That would be like police trying to tell a brain surgeon how to operate.
