Posted over 4 years ago As long as there is no snow or deep water on the ground , the best boots to have on a MILITERY ISSUED JUNGLE BOOTS. They are made of nylon and leather. I once had to chase a 13 year old on the rail road track road bed for just over three miles before I caught him. The two boots together dont way as much as one regular Cochran Boot and never wear shoes. You may have need for a firmer persuader then a shoe on occasion. Also the jungle boots have an aluminum plate on the bottom and a large amount of rubber to absorb shock. They only draw back is that they dont protect you from sitting water because of the nylon weave that is open and they are not designed to support your ankles very much , but still better then any shoe. Glory earned on the field of battle , can never be taken away , you take it with you to the grave. Quote by General George Armstrong Custer

Posted over 4 years ago I'm on my feet 12 hours a night working in the jail and my Rockies is more comfortable than my very $$$$ running shoes. I just recently got another pair and didnt get Rockies and well ... Rockies are the way to go. Jeff Bagwell

Posted over 4 years ago I like the Magnum Hi-Tec boots. Currently I wear the RG (Response Gear) tactical boots.. They are the 8" boots. I get them at BIG 5 Sporting Goods Store.. I wear ridge Air Tac boots, and I highly recommend them. Many people compliment them.

Posted about 4 years ago I wear Magnums. I use to wear Bates but they hurt my feet so no more Bates. I had a coworker wear 5-11's and he said they were the most comfortable boots. So there you have it....my two cents!
