Hello Guys- Has anyone taken the Westchester County Police Officer exam on Nov. 15th 08? If so, Do you know anything about the academy class in August?

| Posted over 4 years ago i took the county test on the 15th..i didnt even know the academy was in august..have you gotten results back yet. im still waiting im starting to get anxious bc its been almost 3 months |

I have not recieved my results yet either. I calle dthe academy to see what was the hold up and they said we should get it by march and that the academy they just started was for the people who took the test before us. They said the next slass is in August-December and that should be for "US". I check the cheif every week. But we get results befor it comes out in the chief. Good Luck |

march..i spoke to a cop in mamaroneck and she said when she took the county test she got results in january or february..oh well when we get the results we get the results. good luck to you hopefully well be in the academy together. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I also took the test on Nov. 15. How do you guys think you did? I think I did pretty good. I'm not gonna lie though, the memory part had me worried a bit though. |

| Posted about 4 years ago I should have realized what you meant by goal. lol. I didn't realize it until later on. lol. I took the NYPD test last night. The memory part on that one was easy but there were some other questions that stumped me. I think I did good though. |

| Posted about 4 years ago To tell you the truth, I don't really know yet. I would think that the county might pay more to start, but I don't know. I guess I'd take whichever one came along first. |

| Posted about 4 years ago county definetly pays more starting. one of my friends friends got his results from the county test a week and a half ago but he got a 75 so he didnt do good so im starting to think they send out results based on how well you did..if you did poorly you get the results first..im just hoping thats how they do it bc that means i did good on the test if i havent gotten anything back lol. |

| Posted about 4 years ago I agree with blash's post ,i know of two people who have recieved thier results one failed and the other got a75 hopefully they save the best for last ....i still waiting...fingers crossed |

| Posted about 4 years ago my thinking is that they are taking longer to send out results to people that did well on the test bc they have to include more information on when our agility portion of the test is and other information we need. the people that didnt do i think just get a letter that says sorry you failed please try again. everyday when im driving home from work i always say to myself please let the results be there when i get home and i just keep on repeating that. |

| Posted about 4 years ago still havent gotten my results..im starting to get kinda pissed off at how long its taken..after over 3 months of waiting i better pass with like a 95 or better bc if i waited over 3 months only to find out i failed i will be so pissed. |

| Posted about 4 years ago yea i ran cross country throughout high school and for the 2 years i was in college. so once i get back into running shape which im already starting..i got up to runnign 3 miles..then again that was like a week ago so i could have dropped a little in endurance..all ive been doing is working so ive been too tired to run after work. im not worried about the running part of the test..the push ups a lil bit..one of my buddies failed the wp police agility test by 1 push up and he was a big dude and he was lifting and stuff to get ready..so if he failed by a push up anyone could fail it..im just gonna start doing crazy amounts of push ups lol |

| Posted about 4 years ago I Heard for the PAT you get 3 tries. Then they determine if you pass or not by the last try. I just hope I can make it. I have to seriously get in shape especially if people that failed shouldnt have failed.... |

| Posted about 4 years ago Well that would be nice if they did give us 3 tries but I doubt they actually will...they might be more lenient if you the run in like sub 10 minutes and do all the sit ups they might be like ok fine you missed it by 1 push up but you are clearly in shape so you pass |

Has anyone have been trying to get fit just incase you are accepted into the academy? I mean, try and get ready for the agility part?
and now running or even riding the bike is kinda hard. But Ive been working on it though. Ive managed to have a routine and its working. I definately dont want to fail. All this work for nuthing will hurt my feelings LMAOL..
