| Posted over 4 years ago I "attended" online classes with them for almost 2 years then transferred to a local college to finish out my BA degrees. UoP is not a bad school, but I was getting tired of just writing papers and missed that face to face contact with instructors. "If you think education is difficult, try being stupid"

| Posted over 4 years ago I am currently attending The University of Phoenix for criminal justice as well. I am currently enrolled in the online classes. I don't mind the on-line classes due to my work schedule. It's not a bad school, I want more hands on experience but right now I can't go to a campus. I have been enrolled in this since August of 2008. There is a lot of writing classes which I hate but I just hope it gets better soon. I have never been good at writing classes but at the same time I am learning a lot also. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I am at UoP Online as well. Been attending since July '04. Set to graduate in October, then reenroll in Jan, '10 to complete Master's program. I love it and it works very well with my schedule. I am curently attending the BSCJA courses and have 6 courses left once my current class ends. I'll be attending the MS for Psychology upon my return. Rion Psalms 55:22 Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I graduated from the University of Phoenix in May 08. I thought about taking on-line classes, but decided actually going (ground) was the best bet. After graduation, I decided to take a little time off, then return later for my graduate degree. |

I graduated from University of Phoenix Online campus in February of 2008 with my Master of Science Degree in Administration of Justice and Security. Great program. The instructors in the program were top notch. The classes lasted six weeks, at which time another class started. There is flexibility as you can schedule breaks in if needed. |

| Posted almost 4 years ago I graduated from the University of Phoenix-online after a little more than 2 years. (already had my AA) I earned my BS in Criminal Justice Administration. I prefered the online school because I didn't have to travel anywhere. It is alot of reading and writing, but it's paying off now that I'm writing grants...... I hope that you reach your goals... HOAAAHH |

| Posted over 3 years ago Sure am. I have just decided to complete my degree in admistrative criminal justice major instead of the Psychology major has now became a minor. I have chose to complete the psycology degree that I started as a minor as the subject will be very helpful in the Criminal and Legal Justice field of study. You will deal with a lot of people that are "Not in the right /normal mode of thought" when responding to some of the most dangerous situations NOT need some sort of Psychology training? At first I felt like I had wasted two years of my college time on "useless courses" as I viewed them . After reading the requirements for the job of a "negioation/crisis responce officer" your are more qualified WITH the more psychology classes you have completed and passed. The higher your grade the better the chance of getting your chance at this type of posotion. I want to go into Federal Justice so the class work is hard and the field work harder. If you think you are stressed ,take my life for 1 day. I will bet most would end up in the B.M.U. at the "crazy farm". Full time student, Full time mom of 3 teenagers.and still find time to do Police Link corspondences. UOP is a very demanding college and 5 weeks is pushing the time as I usualluy do bwest in the 8 week on campus class then the 16 week class, 5 weeks of computer time only for the first class as you adjust after that, Get It Done. The graduate team is the best and will help at any time you need them.

| Posted over 3 years ago I finished my associate's in Criminal Justice and I will finish my bachelor's in Human Services and Management in July 2010. I plan on going on for a master's but haven't decided on a field of study. I attend UOP online and find the experience gratifying. There are a lot of papers but I have met many great people through the classes and we communicate outside of class via the internet. |

I agree with you. I also attended U.O.P for 6 months but i to missed the face to face interaction so I am now at my local college here in town and I absolutly love it! We are doing so many things outside of class that I would not be able to do while attending an online school. |

| Posted over 3 years ago Considered UP and many other online colleges for my CJ degree then found out UNIVERSITY OF LOUISIANA at MONROE has the same course and it is also online for a LOT less. No extra fees for out-of-state CJ majors. Can still take the classes online and enjoy being at home with Momma. Will most likely go for my MA & PhD in CJ the same way.
