The aim of this four day course is to introduce the student to types of improvised explosive devices that are used by terrorist groups or criminals. The course is tailored for personnel with little or no experience with explosives or IED's to a more advanced EOD Technicians. Students will learn how IED's function, how they are employed, and learn the current countermeasure techniques. On successful completion of this course, the student will have a better understanding how IED's are likely to be encountered by both Law Enforcement and Military personnel. Note: This course will not certify students in disarming or disrupting any type of suspected IED. Course content includes: Equipment requirements: STUDENTS: 24 maximum |

By the way, that is the same company the Army sent me to for both my PSD training and my Counter Ambush training.......all of those instructors are former military SOF operators or former SWAT cops wo have turned to overseas PSD contractors |
