| Posted 10 months ago I'm probably putting my head on the chopping block here but maybe if the men on here would give a thumbs down and post a comment about how the picture is inappropriate maybe something would get down. KCecala and I have already done battle with these attention seekers. YaYa Sister |

| Posted 10 months ago Perhaps they were. I cannot say. There are some "attention seeking" people here obviously, based on their photos that they posted. I have nothing against that as long as they are polite and professional on the forums. If someone wants to "connect" with them that can be done in private messages. having a bunch of cops drooling over the PL bunnie of the month only makes us look bad to the potential member checking out the site for the first time. | Posted 10 months ago BUMP Well ive seen some of the photos and some of the comments, and although I do agree that inappropriate comments should not be posted. I also believe that if the girl or woman posts a pic of her breasts almost popping out they should be expecting those comments. IDK call me alittle old fashioned |

| Posted 10 months ago I bump all the comments. I don't think I'll be leaving comments anymore for inappropriate photos. I"m just going to rate them down and flag them as inappropriate. I have been blasted before by those said members. I"d rather have an editor taken them down. I am not in the mood anymore to be cussed or yelled at these members. |

| Posted 10 months ago The girls that come on here and post boob, butt and navel pictures are BADGE BUNNIES ! Why else do you come on a police site and post these pictures.? I understand that men are visual creatures but the ones posting the comments should have more self control. Susanne I have been there and done that. And have been called all kinds of names. My favorite was stalker. Dave, thank you for the kind words. We are trying to keep this site from becoming like some other police sites on the web. YaYa Sister |

| Posted 10 months ago Just so this is clear. We are a really tight community who stands up for each other. I am not insecure about myself. I don't hate others. I think if you are looking for a police career you shouldn't post a picture with your booty shorts pointed in the air. Thank you to the members I respect the most for your support. Most of you know I am married to a thirty year veteran police officer. We have really had several hard years. I came to PL to connect with like minded others. I have done just that and have met some awesome people. Think before you post inappropriate pictures or comments. It can really come back to bite you. |

| Posted 10 months ago I confess I have let my breasts do the talking a time or two in my life. I think all women have. Comes with the territory. Some greedy women want to expand their 'territory' to the world. Anywhere. Anytime. Welcome to cyberspace and self-made centerfold starfits. Regarding "career-seekers" in the cyber-stacks of 8X10 glossies. They still say it in offices everywhere - "Honey we got dime a dozen like you." As for law enforcement, if your profile says "I wanna be a cop! Are you dating?" might send a teensy counter-message, no? Only a fool would serve her tatas on a tray to gain a job at a law enforcement agency. Might as well plop down and anounce, "Integrity be damned, I flirt (etc.) for a promotion!" (Emphasis on "etc.") Agencies review website histories these days. So go ahead and let your next (female) boss decide if your cleavage is 'tastefully presented.' Especially when you've attached a "don't look at it if you don't like it" mindset to your "application." This kind of boring stuff is what you learn in middle school. When a woman arranges her tatas to shout volumes across cyberspace, she shouldn't mistake masculine reaction as proof of her moral superiority. Men appreciate a look totally independent of any personality/ethical system at all. It's how they're built. Women who capitalize on that under the aegis of 'job seeking' are angling. It's sooo easy to do. So... no self-congratulations. Book by it's cover'? You bet. So... if you tire of advertising your right to flaunt your 'career muffins', just pull the cyber-staple out of your navel and woman up. Then you won't have to publicly argue your integrity under the category of "Methinks the Lady Doth Protest Too Much." As for 'tastefully presented' cleavage - don't sell mens' intellects short. They know when a gal is being calculating. In a 'nice' way. Turns out cops are a case in point. So...who's zoomin' who? |

| Posted 10 months ago Bump to Kristine,Marly and Dave. And Elisa it's hard not to see them when you are looking at the pictures that are posted. And you are right about the name calling but that is what the girls do when they are called out for the inappropiate attire in their photos. YaYa Sister |

| Posted 10 months ago Friends, you all know I tend to be more liberal on the dress code here at Policelink. I do see professional-looking photographs of beautiful women who want their profiles to advertise a 'sexy model' look for obvious reasons. By most standards the photos are pretty tame. Yet here, at Policelink, when coupled with a stated career interest, the sincerity factor gets... skewed. Within the context of dating...I do get the fact people want to present themselves attractively. I would simply ask that women who wish to date cops wouldn't 'hard sell' in public here via their photos. Women (and men) posting photos should keep higher standards in mind. Attention to standards shows a friendly interest in preserving the integrity of Policelink's career-based social community. We have seen the result of an "if you don't like it don't look at it" non-standard. That non-standard flings the gate open for hipslingin' thong-shots in the bathroom mirror. Not every woman aims to be subtle when she casts a wide net. Here, cleavage and tummy shots are not subtle, however beautifully done. I would ask every charming attention-seeker to imagine all avatars at Policelink advertising cleavage, bellies and rumps. AND imagine the masculine equivalent. There are a LOT of cops here who could Chippendale their profile angles. They choose not to. There's a good reason. They care about how Policelink looks, about how THEY look in public. Tear a page from their notebook. Lastly, Miss Modelicious Vivante, don't imagine Policelink's female LEOs, Supporters and Career-Seekers to be absent curvy attributes simply because Forums is absent that kind of hard sell. Simply, women here choose to exercise public restraint for the greater good. And when you find the need to armwave your'sincere' intentions, keep in mind the number of cops' wives who also visit this site regularly. Women who are the foundation of the career you seek. Policelink has higher standards to uphold. Be circumspect. Don't 'position' yourself at this site's expense. It shouts sexual opportunism at the expense of community harmony.

My thoughts are that maybe you should have placed some tasteful pictures on an album and left the ones others are talking about for another site. I think people were judging the pictures and not necessarily the person. You will find a great support group here and lots of worthwhile information if you stay around. You can make many friends here that wll help you in your quest. |

I will address her first statement: It is almost impossible to undo a first impression. Some advice to you, put your best foot forward the first time and you will not have to expend a great amount of time undoing a negative impression. It's cause and effect here! You caused it and are not liking the effect. How can anyone judge you differently than we did? YOU presented yourself as what we term a badge bunny. YOU did this. Take full responsiblity for the response you are receiving to the pictures YOU posted. We live in the real world, not fantasy land or the ice age. I don't care who you are or how old you are... this site plainly states who and what we are and no where does it say or infer that we are a dating/hook up site. You found it through Monster.com which is a professional job seeking site. That should have been your first clue. You are old enough to comprehend the differences between professional and dating sites. And you are old enough to know that the pictures you posted here were inappropriate. I have worked in law enforcement for a long time and the damage females who present themselves as ONLY a sexual being and use that to move up the ladder make it more difficult for those of us who are doing this for the right reasons. When I put on my uniform I don't feel sexy, because this is not a sexy job. It's SERIOUS business. You minimize those of us who are doing the job and I take umbrage with those methods/tactics.
