(San Diego, CA) -- A California Highway Patrol officer faces 60-days in jail for assaulting a man who was arrested for driving under the influence. Brian David Kennedy admitted to pushing Andrew Chase at the Vista Detention Facility and filing a false report. Prosecutors say the incident took place last July and was captured on a surveillance camera. Kennedy has resigned from the C-H-P. He is free to look for work at other law enforcement agencies. Hmmmmm....filed a false report, not a good thing on his part. That shows dishonesty and discrediting himself and the CHP. Dont think anyone will pick him up any time soon..... |
