I guess I should reply too.

Mines my daughters name down the back of my right arm, I had it done about 2 months after she was born.

It's also my father and grand-fathers name and I have lost both of them, so it really means alot to me.

I have a few but my favorite one is my newest on my left thigh.  It is a 1940 Knucklehead Harley with a pinup wearing nothing but a Texas flag.  Its on my profile.

Eagle,Globe, & Anchor on my upper left arm

Marines I see as two breeds, Rottweilers or Dobermans, because Marines come in two varieties, big and mean, or skinny and mean. They're aggressive on the attack and tenacious on defense. They've got really short hair and they always go for the throat.

That's a tough one.  They are like children (in an odd sort of way), how can you pick one over the other?  I like the Celtic braclets, filled in with green that I have on both my wrists (shows my 1/2 Irish heritage).  I like my snarling tiger on my right forearm.  If I turn my arm around you can see a black and white cheetah head.  My artist and I have put a lot of time and work into the Vincent van Gogh theme that encompasses my right shoulder and runs all the way down to my wrist.  I also have a memorial to Vinnie, with his headstone, surrounded by sunflowers and him rising above it like a ghost.  I have a little tree frog that everyone loves, hanging out and looking over the village from Starry Night.  I also have 2 parrots and 2 ravens on that arm.  One of each is in color and the other is more like an outline that's not filled in.  It's kind of hard to describe.

Then we go to the left arm, which isn't finished yet.  I have a Burmese Python going up my forearm and he is crawling across a boa constrictor.  I need some fill work done around these two objects.  I have a lizard with a gecko climbing on him on the outside of my forearm.  On my upper left arm, I have Chinese lettering down the middle with a big red rose at the top and various flowers and fauna filling in around the lettering.  And finally, I have a Geisha girl on my inner left bicep, which goes all the way down to the fold in my arm (where it bends with the elbow).  She isn't finished yet either.  I'm probably going to have to get something to fill in the inner bicep of my right arm as there is some space available.

So my arms are nearly completely covered.  The big question is "what should I work on next?".  I was thinking of a back piece, but I don't have any real good ideas to fill up all that space.  Then I was thinking of a Chinese dragon to cover my whole right thigh and calf.  Something really wild.  That would leave my left leg uncovered, so I'd have to come up with an idea for that leg.  I know one thing that I want to put on my upper left thigh, but I'm not sayiing what it is yet.  This piece is something that I want to tattoo myself.  I talked to my artist about it and he said that he would rent me a booth and his equipment to do it, so I am definetly going to have something on that leg that I put there myself.  I need some help to get some good pictures because I can't hold the camera and twist to get the piece lined up at the same time.  Once I get somebody to help me with it, I will post the pictures on my profile.

Yes, I am addicted.  Thank goodness it's not illegal or y'all'd have to come and arrest me!  One thing is for sure.  When I attain room temperature (some day a long time from now), I will be easy to identify!

The one that means the most is on my left shoulder.  I have two of the most beautiful little girls ever, and one daughter that I lost in between, so the tat is a dark-haired fairy (representing me) overlooking a vine with 3 different-colored flowers (each one representing one of my girls).

I have within the past year gotten a new tat on my left leg.  It is a memorial to my Papa and ond day my Dad.  It is a cross with an American flag flying over it with the word Papa above it and Dad below it, its not finshed yet, I still have to add my Papa's wing emblem from when he was in WWII.

Dear Saint Michael ~
Help the police officers of our day who strive to stem the rebellion and evil that are rampant on all sides. Keep them faithful to their God as well as to their country and their fellow human beings.
~ Amen.

My fave is my maple leaf on my hip...pic on my profile. It represents my hometown of Ottawa, Ontario Canada....I'm really American but spent the first 15 yrs of my life in Ottawa. I had it done when I went back to visit this past July...in  downtown Ottawa, a place I frequented as a teenager.

Since I was in the Coast Guard, I got an old sailing ship with my last name on the back, my daughters initials are in signal flags and her date of birth is on the top pennant!!! I love that one.  But now that my son is here, I'll get him his own ship to match and tie it together with the ocean!!!

Just got one, my new favorite due to it's meaning,  for a Brother Officer who died unexpectedly. He was only 28 years old, was an exemplary Officer and an even better friend.

It's centered on my back, starts just below my neck line as a Cross that turns into St Michael's Sword, and ends a little past halfway down my back. In the center of the Cross is his badge number and initials. A banner that's wrapped starting from the Cross to the bottom of the sword reads "A man remembered never dies"

My favorite would have to be the one I designed myself. It covers the top portion of my back between my shoulder blades. It is a feminine cross with angel wings and at the top of the cross there is a halo and a R.I.P banner that comes around it. Then under the arms of the cross on the left side is my dads name with the date he was born and passed and the right side is my best friends name and dates. Its all outlined and shaded in black and gray...I soon want to make a whole memorial back piece out of it and continue to add names of my loved ones who pass.

I'm going to say w/o a doubt it's my daughter's footprints on my chest.  They are from the original hospital copy from the day she was born.

I have several,  one that has a lot of significant meaning is the Celtic cross on my chest.  It  is directly over my heart and right behind my badge.  The other one is in honor of my parents--I have both my parents career choices on my back, a nurse and a telephone repair man.

I do not have any tattoos; however, I would love to have a tattoo of Jesus some place on my body. This has been a long time desire, just too afraid to have it done.
