I am posting below the flyer for a Benefit Bike Ride I am organizing for a Brother in Blue.  If there were ever a deserving person he is the one.  Any help, donation, or spreading the word for this event will be greatly appreciated!



 


Glenn Lewellen Benefit Bike Ride
December 6, 2008
Orange Beach, Alabama
 
Glenn Lewellen is an Investigator with the Orange Beach Police Department. For the past 2 years Glenn has been fighting Cancer. Due to Glenn’s illness he will no longer be able to remain a Police officer. Glenn will not make his 25 years required for full retirement benefits in the State of Alabama. Glenn has committed over 23 years to public service and now is your opportunity to give back in his time of need.
 
REGISTRATION:  9:00 am – 10:30 am
 
DEPARTING: Approximately 10:45am
 
LOCATION: Orange Beach Sportsplex- (Behind Water Treatment Plant on Canal Rd)                                                                           
 
DESTINATION: The Hawg Pen, 16347 Co. Rd 16, Foley, AL.
 
Full police escort provided! Donations of $30 per Rider and $20 per Passenger OR non-riders can join us for Live Music, Food, and Football at The Hawg Pen after 11:00am for $10.
