Moving post. I am glad you found the strength to walk that long road, and did not turn out like so many victims of these heinous crimes against children.

Part of this took my breath away and the other part of me who wrote the program" How to deal with a mentally ill person when they are in crisis " ask not why but how can this experience be used. I know you may wonder but part of your gift was this knowledge that should be presented to all Law Enforcement . That is why I wrote my program. Having information is not the answer. It is when you share it.

And yes, children are easy to hurt. Approx. 68% of those you abuse children do the same to animals. That is one of the " tells " for Law Enforcement. People who hurt animals have a problem.

May you have Peace in your Heart !

Thank you for your response seapaws3791.  Working as a RN  on a psychiatric unit I would be very interested in exchanging pms regarding the program you taught.  Take care and enjoy your retirement.

Thank you for your response EiigyPocrOff, there are many survivors out there, I am just one.  Teaching our chlidren how to learn and teach themselves.  Teaching our youth to think for themselves, to not fall for everything they hear as fact, as the truth. ..to read through the tell tale signs of manipulation, deception, distraction. Co-dependency is another pitfall that will sap a person of their time and energy....to no avail. Teaching and mentoring proactive thinking and behavior. To help them fulfill their goals and future pursuits.  My life-long pursuits and goals.

Sherry,

Thank you so much for shraing your story. I can only say.....wow. You are such a stong person. I cannot imagine how hard that was for you, but I can tell that God watches over you. Because look at you now. You are a stong, compassionate person, and I would like to shake your hand. I think that everyone should read this story and learn from it.

God Bless You

Admittedly, the most difficult call(s) I  have ever responded to as a LEO with a loaded sidearm was abused/molested children; the closer the relationship (between victim/perpetrator) the harder it was. I had to find ways to deal with it at a professional level. I could never imagine being a victim on top of that!!! I have never come across a case like yours; but I have seen far to many other scenarios, many of which could have been stopped prior to police intervention by inside sources.

I have been out of the Law Enforcement for a while, and I have worked a few ritual-related crimes but never leading to child-related incidents as you have described - but it may have progressed as far as that by now and I would be very interrested in hearing more about it if you are willing to go into more detail about it at some point.

Thank you so much for sharing this with me!

OMG!!!!

While first reading this story I thought it was a script from an awful bloodsplatting horror film. It seemed to have a good, suspenseful, storyline....to my own horror and shock....it was a true story.  A true.......but very sad story.  I also had goosebumps and chills as i read but those feelings grew to joy as I read what has become of this child that was brutally assaulted in ways that I cannot even imagine. Many times, there are children that do not use the negative situations that they are put in and use it to give them motivation to beat the "Big Bad Wolf".  Many times....sadly.....these children turn to drugs or alcohol.....sometimes even suicide.

I am happy to learn and hear that you have triumphed what many may have thought....couldnt be done.  You have succeeded and used your past experiences....good or bad to help make you the person you are.....and also gives you the push, motivation, and strength to be the person that you will become.

Welcome to LE and I wish you much success in your chosen field

Thank you for your heartfelt responses parfarr, Jcorrea, and vickies111852,    When you have a childhood like mine, when abuse strikes any child, it can leave you wondering if you will ever be accepted anywhere, by anyone, if anyone can accept you for who you are ...will you ever mean anything to anyone, more than to be manipulated, deceived and lied to. ...more than being someone's figure to reek vengeance and violence on ...to hold in spite and jealousy, to think of and treat like an animal instead of a precious human being... Well that's what my community offered me, unconditionally and without knowing how important that acceptance was to me. I was raised to give back to my community, that is the example I strive to follow.

Thank you els98. Youth and others need to know that violence does not need to lead to more violence.

Thank you for your support  Angelonthewall.  When youth feel accepted, valued, and have a futuristic outlook towards goals they are seldom in serious trouble.  We need to be the mentor and example our children need to see to feel they have worth and a future.

dolphineblue,

A very excellent story of inspiration for SA victims and for that matter all victims of abuse.  I have spent 17 years of my career conducting Child Abuse Investigations (perhaps too long) and have dealt with most all manners and patterns of abuse. I think it wonderful you survived and are able to help others and that you are sharing your experience with others.  I have experienced a wide spectrum of results where victims have survived and are living productive lives with healthy famlies and careers, to despair in drugs and alcochol and some not recovering from the pitfalls, to prepretrating the very behaviors they were subjected to,  to suicide.  Sometimes I feel there is not enough justice for the children that are preyed upon.

God Bless,

Randy Pieper, Sgt.

Thank you for your response piepr.  So many victims of abuse never regain their sense of choice, power or live up to their true potential.  Thank you for all those years you aided and sought justice for child abuse victims.  May God continue to protect your pathway.

I am very pleased to have witnessed your strenght.  I am not of that cloth, maybe it is a guy thing.  I have and will continue to use the sword.  Truth and honesty will be  my shield.  I and others will work to help those who cannot help themselves, that is our purpose, that is our thruth.
