I do, I believe they exsist. And my hope is that everyone will have their angel when they are in most need. This may sound kind of sappy and stuff to some people but, I honestly do believe that police officers are God's eyes to the world. I can't express my appreciation in words to the police officers that do their good will to help people. I just wanted to share this story with you! Peace~Stacy

Rescued by Angels

In 1988 an angry, assaultive, apparently drugged car mechanic threatened me. I was renting a room in a less than safe area of Riverside, California, trying to recover from a traumatic divorce. I was all alone. It was late and there was no one to help me. I tried to call the police before he bashed in the weak front door lock and was informed all units were busy. I knew if this person broke in I could possibly be beaten to death, and I started praying for God's intervention.

In about forty minutes as he screamed and threatened to kill me over a past due bill for car repairs, a squad car pulled up and two young, very nice looking police officers hopped out. They were smiling and calm, and they spoke soothingly to the crazed mechanic and he promptly passed out in front of them. They reassured me he would go away and he did. They brushed aside my offer to make out a report. One of them said, "No, don't worry about that--we don't need it. He won't bother you again."

Shaken and terrified, I sank to my knees and thanked God as they pulled away. I called the Riverside Police Station to thank them for their help, as I am sure the door would have broken open at any minute. I will never forget their reply. "There were no Officers dispatched to your house as it wasn't high priority."

I will always believe these wonderful, smiling Police Officers who radiated peace, were angels sent by God.

A FEW WEEKENDS AGO I WAS HURRYING TO WALMART AT MIDNIGHT WITH MY SON IN THE VEHICLE WITH ME. A POLICE OFFICER BLUELIGHTED ME AND PULLED ME OVER. MAYBE I WAS SPEEDING. IWASN'T SURE. I WAS AGGRAVATED THAT HE WAS GOING TO TAKE UP SOME OF MY TIME. HE APPROACHED AND TOLD ME THAT I HAD A WIRE HANGING FROM UNDER THE TRUCK AND IT WAS CAUSING SPARKS. HE CLIMBED UNDER MY VEHICLE AND FIXED IT. HE TOLD ME TO HAVE A GOOD NIGHT AND I THANKED HIM SO MUCH. THE OFFICCER WAS MY ANGEL THAT NIGHT.

Tat2:It's really good to hear that someone else feels that way. I've been upset with God lately and you've brought me back closer to where I should be with him which like you, is very important to me. Your really very good with scripture. I've known for awhile now that God is the answer to our problems. I've learned from two different religions and have chosen to not completely be a part of either one of them, but I've also learned much from both of them. I think all the answers we need are in the bible. Regarding angels, I believe they're here to help us. I'm just not sure how you get them to do that.

Back in 1981 I was a much younger man(LOL) and fresh out of Army basic training. The Army got me as far as Pittsburgh and I had another 80 miles to go. Everyone I called could not come to get me and I was getting frustrated. I remember praying asking god to send someone to help.
Still trying to get someone on the telephone I senced someone standing behind me I turned and saw this guy, who appeared to have been in his 50s. He asked me "How's thing going soldier?" So I relayed to him my plight. He then turned and said good luck and walked away. I was just about to give up when this man came back and said "Hey Jim some friends of mine are over there and they are heading to Johnstown maybe they could give you a lift. We went over and he introduced me to them. After talking to them for a bit I turned to thank the man but he was gone. I then turned to my ride and inquired about the man and they said that they did not know him but he said that he was of friend of yours and that you needed a ride to Johnstown. It was then that I realized that he used my first name. I never told him my first name and only my last name was on my duffle bag. My ride? not only to my home town but they lived a block away, they gave me a ride to my doorstep.

My uncle was a police officer in Owensboro Kentucky... while off duty he sustained a gunshot wound to the head. I never got a chance to meet him, before I took my first police job I had a dream an it was my uncle. He told me not to worry, and that he will always be there with me. Funny thing is I told my mother (his sister), who was formerly a police officer in Cocoa Beach Florida, and she said that she had had the same dream when she was a LEO. I do belive in angels.

I know that there are Angels. I haven't see one nor felt their physical touch. We will never know how many times Angels have intervened on our behalf to prevent dangers unknown to us. One thing that most people don't understand is that people when they leave this earth and go to Heaven do not become Angels. Angels are heavenly beings that have never known the pain and suffering of a life spent on Earth.
