Posted over 4 years ago Its been over a year since I think I filled my truck up! Its always over $60 and still is a little over half a tank, what can a family do? Who is to blame? Who is seeing a big change in you department gas use? I love each day like its my last! Why do we are have to be so serious? |

| Posted over 4 years ago $3.59 - $3.69 here in Rochester. Not having a family and having a small car has helped me be able to fill the tank regularly, though I am fortunate I use a Deartment car for work or trainings. Thats helped alot. I used to have jobs that I had to use my car for work. The mileage checks would not have helped make up for all the driving. I feel for those of you with families and large vehicles. |

same here in SE Wisconsin.... just filled up at 3.21 the other day and 4 hours later same station was 3.16..... Heck....part of the reason I moved closer to work recently was because it was pushing 4 bucks a gallon and I was commuting 42 miles 1 way to work.... now I drive about 11 miles 1 way to work.... that's some real easy math!!!! | Posted over 4 years ago $3.45 in northern VA this morning. It's been so long since I actually filled up from empty, I can't remember when. I usually put about $40.00 in every weekend. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I just filled up my F150 and my wifes Dodge Nitro yesterday. Found a station where the gas was down to $3.32 a gallon. it was a madhouse there though. People pulling in from both ends of the station then arguing over who was next at the pump. My F150 had about half a tank and my wifes Dodge had about 1/4 tank so I filled them both up. cost me about $70.00. As for the department vehicles they have us using the state gas pump at our facility now since we had our state budget fiasco. we used to have a gas card but they don't want us buying at the regular gas stations anymore. The state buys gas cheaper than a regular station. I don't know why they didn't have us using the state gas pump to begin with. |

| Posted over 4 years ago Prices are finally falling around here and there isn't the shortage that there had been too. It had gotten as high as $3.99 for Regular Unleaded and for now at least it is down to $3.69 and seems to be on the downward trend. During the worse part of this whole thing there were several stations in and around the Calhoun County Alabama area that would keep running out of gas because the demand was so high. It would seem that everyone kept going and filling up their tanks and the stations couldn't keep up with the demands. I'm hoping that the prices will continue to fall, but I wouldn't be surprised if it starts to climb again. Say, maybe around election time... "Learn from the mistakes of others. | Posted over 4 years ago Gas this morning in Central Ohio: $2.749 for regular unleaded.... Fill that tank regularly... the truck sits in the garage most days, and the bike only holds 5 gallons...the Road King gets about 44 mpg...can't beat it! | Posted over 4 years ago You can still easily find gas for under $2.80 in Cleveland. I don't understand why it's so expensive elsewhere, especially Texas with all its refineries. |

| Posted over 4 years ago 1.72 here now.... been there for about 4 days I think. Thats a little worrisome though because at the rate it had been falling I am thinking we are getting ready to see an increase again. Its obscene how much we were paying and now it just feels normal. I can actually buy fresh produce again... since I am not paying almost 100.00 to fill my tank!! Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. |

| Posted over 4 years ago $2.19 here in nothern Virginia. I was able to fill the tank in my truck yesterday (half full) for around $30.00. They tax gasoline in the area highly so we don't get as much of a break here. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I have filled up fpr $1.73 a gallon. Please don't be to upset. And if you got to Safeway and you get a discount I actually filled up fpr $1.61. I have no idea how long it will last but when I can fill my Pacifica up for $25.00 bucks. YAY. | Posted over 4 years ago In Central Az it is about 2.07, and in the Phoenix area it is still as "high" as 2.40. Funny how $2 gas sounds cheap! I remember when I thought 50 cents was too expensive, but then again during high school we bought gas for less than a quarter, and 2 bucks would let ya cruise all night long. Local beer was a buck a six-pack! Of course minumum wage was about a buck. Oh well! |
