I'd be happy to trade a coin. I work for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and have some I could trade. Let me know.

I'm interested in trading. If the coins you have are not in my collection let me know which of mine you want and an address. My collection is listed on my site and all my coins are shown there.

I don't get it.  I'm not bashing anyone here for what they do, but I've never really heard of people trading challenge coins before.

Is this a big thing these days? Say, along the lines of patch or badge collecting?

I am an Army Reservist former active duty, and every coin I have earned as an award (a unit coin) or I recieved from the person who the coin represents (office coin). Granted these were all military types. I've never traded a coin before, for somone I didn't meet in person, or work for.

hmmmmm, interesting.

It is exactly like patch or badge trading just something different, after 29 years patches got boring and I was given a challenge coin at a school, thought they were cool so had some made for the Detectives who work for me and gave them out, then began trading. Now over 300 in collection and have traded with many folks I have never and will never meet. On the other hand I have met probably a dozen folks and gotten to show them around Anchorage and have breakfast with them after having traded coins with them.

I'd love to trade with anyone who's interested.  I'm the dispatch supervisor for the Kenai Police in Kenai, AK and our dispatch center recently minted a challenge coin.  Shoot me a message if you'd like to trade.

I have a couple of them, 1 being a Katrina Commerative, but the one I carry was given to me the day my son graduated MCRD in 1999 and I have carried  it everyday since ,its a simple coin that has the EGA and the words "Proud Parent of a U S MARINE " and my initials on the reverse. I've even made a trip back home when I've forgotten it.
