3rd shift...what do you do on your off nights

Posted over 4 years ago I found myself in Wal-Mart at 0300 for no real reason ( and I still spent $200.00 go figure). In my area there is not much open at 0300 but Wal-Mart and Waffel House. So, I ask, what do you do on you off nights? |

| Posted over 4 years ago When I'm off work I don't like to even consider going anywhere. I sit at home and enjoy as much privacy as I can muster, I don't want to see anyone, talk to anyone, go anywhere other than the kitchen or the bathroom, and just watch Fox News to check out the progress or the lack there of the election, or watch the History channel. Now once in a great while if I have the extra money along with a little extra time like a three day vacation I will load up the family and take a trip somewhere with them just to have some quality time them. But the majority of the time I just stay home. |

| Posted over 4 years ago It sounds ridiculous, but I always spent a lot of my off nights either woodworking in my outbuilding or playing video games. Of course it always ticks my wife off because I'm not in bed. |

| Posted over 4 years ago My husband and I have the same days off, and we might take a drive, or go to the store, The strange thing about us both being on third shift is that between 10:30pm-11:00pm on our nights off we're so tired, we fall asleep. When its time to go back to work on 3rd shift, we are all mixed up again on our sleep. |

| Posted over 4 years ago My fiance & find outselves playing PS2 or watching rented movies on our nights off... Every once in a while we might go backroading at night. Rarely do we do the bar scene Don't forget... the toes you step on today might be attached to the ass you'll be kissing tomorrow! |

| Posted over 4 years ago Gym sometimes twice a day! LOL The net, go driving(not so much with gas prices), working out, watching DVD's, trying to find Miss Right, playing on Myspace and Police Link. I don't do bars, not much to do in this town.... I do try to find extra jobs to make extra money and stay busy. I'm also the courtesy officer at my apartment, sooo.....I do that alot. Harass the tentants. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I play Call Of Duty 4 on my PS3 until my eyeballs start bugging out, then I get out my gilly suit and sneak around my yard scaring the hell out of my neighbors. And a few cats. And rabbits. And myself. Then, before the evil sun pops up, I slink back inside and put my cold feet on my wife, waking her up just a few minutes before her alarm goes off for work. Yeah, she doesn't like that In God we trust...all others we run through NCIC |

| Posted over 4 years ago ah yes the 3am walmart trips. theyre even better when you are a little intoxicated.but like the others said, when im not at walmart im doing yard work, video games, missed shows on dvr. oh yeah and pissing off the little lady whos sleeping in the next room! |

| Posted over 4 years ago Man i hate my nights off i never know what to do. I end up renting alot of movies. if its the weekend i end up hanging out with my friends who are "day walkers". But for the most part it seems like there is nothing to do. For us, there is no spring. Just the wind that smells fresh before the storm.

| Posted over 4 years ago I'm single,so I try to at least go out on one of my off nights.The other night I always seem to pull another shift.Nothing else to do. You can sleep without fear tonight because there are others standing by to due violence on your behalf. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I SEEM TO KNOW WHATS ON EVERY CHANNEL, I KNOW WHEN MY WIFE GETS UP TO USE THE REST ROOM, I KNOW WHEN ALL THE NEIGHBORS ARE UP GETTING READY TO LEAVE FOR WORK, I EVEN HAVE IT DOWN TO THE "T" WHEN THE STREET LIGHTS TURN OFF. .......BUT I STARTED WALKING THE NEIGHBORHOOD ALOT, AND GETTING BETTER AT TIGER WOODS GOLF X-BOX...LOL.... AND I ACTUALLY HAND WRITE LETTERS TO MY FOLKS AND GRAND MOTHER. I CAN DO ALOT MORE PUSH-UPS NOW . I AT LEAST TRY TO EAT OUT WITH MY FAMILY ONE NIGHT THAT I AM OFF, AND THE NEXT WEEK I GET A NIGHT TO MY SELF WITH A BUDDY OF MINE. |
