That would be called, "Welcome to Murphy's Law." Sometimes it seems like the radio goes out only when you need it most. We had one citizen call 911 asking where the officers backup was.........he was fighting two subjects in the front yard on a domestic when his radio was caught in a "Dead-Spot." Technology will always fail when you need it most, so the key would be Self-Reliant and not try to be "Johnny-Bravo" and handle everything by yourself....

Those are hard lessons learned.......be safe
