Posted almost 5 years ago i know an ex-cop that got fired for coming to work drunk , why didn they arrest him if he came in drunk or why did they let him leave? and later that night he locked himself up in his house and started shooting at the local cops . |

| Posted almost 5 years ago I'm sure departments do it differently, with our department, you don't terminate someone on the spot. You place them on administrative leave, pending termination. There are hoops to jump through. Why they didn't arrest him is anyones guess. My bet would be, there are already going to terminate him, why give him an arrest record as well. | Posted almost 5 years ago Without more specific details it would be almost impossible to determine why he was not arrested for reporting to work in an intoxicated state. At best it would be a disservice to guess at answers to your questions or comment or the alleged shooting incident. |
