| Posted over 4 years ago I had a mouthy little inmate who never knew when to quit. He was only about five three and skinny but apparently a big man with a gun, he was a serial rapist and was proud of his conquests, as he called his crimes. He had done something one evening and refused to cuff up. I tried to tell him he would not like what I had in store but he said he didn't carre and to put the force cell team together. When he saw the team I had assembled he suddenly wanted to behave, too late. The look of sheer terror in his eyes as he saw six of my biggest, meanest female officers all suited up and ready for action put a large smile on my face. Oh, ya after that when I told him to do something he said okay!! T.G.G.

| Posted over 4 years ago WagonCop - BEAUTIFUL !! I like that story. We had a guy actually write grievence that he wasn't being checked on every 15 minutes. So, every 15 minutes we made sure he knew we were checking on him. We started out just pounding on his door. After about 3 hours, when he was tryijng to sleep, he stopped responding to this. Well, following policy, we had to ensure that we saw both "flesh and movement". So we entered his cell and removed all his blankets, ensuring his safety. At this point he conceded the game. |

| Posted over 4 years ago Had an inmate who loved to stand naked and play with himself whenever females were in the area. One friday he got to the point where he would refuse to cover himself, when I went to talk to him he told me that he would do exactly what he wanted, of course not that nicely. I said something like a real man would cover himself but in his case not for modesty rather he had little to show. Made him mad so the next call I got was that he had taken every piece of cloth ib his cell and slid it out on the run. When I got there he stood naked and smiling, "now what you gonna do" he mocked, I asked if the clothes and sheets etc. were his, he said no so I had the officer inventory it all and send it to property. Now it gets cold at night in the desert so about three he asked for his stuff back. Told him sorry he'd have to wait until property opened on monday. T.G.G.

Maybe it is just me, but posting unusual treatment of prisoners might be in really poor taste on a public site, no need to give the bleeding hearts an easy mark. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I had to step into a housing unit one night to relieve an officer so he could go home for an emergency. On my initial round I had a prisoner ask me for a roll of toilet paper. I told him to wait until I was finished with my round and I would get back to him. When I returned to his cell several minutes later with the roll of toilet paper, the prisoner started telling me how great of an officer I was and that if he had to depend on the "regular officers" in the unit he would be waiting for it all night. Knowing this prisoner was blowing smoke I simply replied, "I've got no problem giving you something you've got coming to you. That goes for that roll of toilet paper, or if you try going over the fence when I'm in the Gun Tower... Either way you're going to get what you've got coming." "To secure ourselves against defeat lies in our own hands, but the opportunity of defeating the enemy is provided by the enemy himself."

| Posted over 4 years ago This is why I did not agree with our jails going tobacco free. It always worked when you took away their cigarettes Pain is weakness leaving the body. Obstacles are what we see when we take our eyes off the goal. |

| Posted over 4 years ago Had a young man who was doing his best to leave the prison for the state hospital, unfortunately he just wasm't bright enough to pull it off. One night he was waiting for me with one of his tricks, he had saved a hot dog bun from dinner and laid a turd neatly in it, "hey, sarge. wanna watch me eat this" he asked, "just a minute" I replied and left when I returned I slid a packet of mustard under the door, "here you go they're better with mustard, now go ahead". He did not eat his "snack" and whar he told me I will not state here! T.G.G.

liberty or death, what we so proudly hail, once you provoke her. You will hear the rattling of her tail. She will return with a deadly bite, so dont tread on me |
