Posted over 4 years ago I have heard we may have lost a trooper in Kalispell. Has anyone heard anything?? |

| Posted over 4 years ago Sadly you are correct. I don't have any other details at this time, but I am sure more will come out. My families thoughts and prayers go out to the family and fellow officers.

| Posted over 4 years ago Yes, we lost another Trooper up in Kalispell. The press has the name out so I guess there is no harm in saying who it is. It was Evan Schneider. He joined the patrol in 2004. He was 29 and leaves a wife. Very sad deal. He was trying to stop a violator when for reasons still being investigated another vehicle lost control and struck him head on. Trooper Schneider died as did the two occupants in the other vehicle. A very sad day for a lot of people. Evan was an awesome trooper and person and will be greatly missed.
