I live in lake county illinois and I am divorced from a guy from mexico..i applied for him his papers in2001.I have taken out numerous orders of protections against him.and I have 1 now I took out last week.He has been calling me threating me that If I went to court that he was going to make me disappear...i should say that his babys mom"dissappeared right before their custody hearing too!...I am honestly fearful for my life and my unborn childs safteyand my children that are at home with me.I have called ICE and made a report..but nothing! I gave them his address and phone number address where he worked everything! It seems to me that the life of another would be a good reason to go pick up an illegal alien that is an alcoholi drug addict wife beater! Can you please give me some other advice on what to do please! I honestly am in dire need of assistance. My local law enforcement is aware of the situation and say that they can't do anything until he does something to get arrested for...I told them he had no licence and here that is reason to be arrested. Can you please help me?...Thanks

I hope you get the answer your looking for. Since you have a standing protective order dont the phone calls violate that order ?

I do not work CBP but would try contacting the Illinois field office

Copy and paste the following link in your web browser......

http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/toolbox/contacts/cmcs/cmc_mid_america.xml

Good luck I hope everything turns out good for you.

Do get a tape recorder, and tape any phone messages he leaves. Phone threats would be a violation of that protection order, I should think.

When you got that order, did they tell you who to contact if there was a violation of it?

I can understand your fear just try to remain clear headed about the whole situation. Dont let your mind wander and worry about the many things thst may or may not have happened to her. I to have been in a situation similar to yours, and in hindsight I would have taken control not let someone attempt to take it from me. Keep your spirits up, ok.

Forgotten,

I would recommend that you stay in close contact with the local police agency that patrols your neighborhood - go visit them, give them all the information you have about him - be as specific as you can - details of the phone calls, his phone number if you have it; and any information ; cars, etc. Tell them the specifics of your situation. Letting ICE know there is a problem will eventually help but right now you need to let the local authorities if you are in fear of your life, you need to articulate that to the locals - include the county and state police as well.

Good luck
