Posted almost 5 years ago Just trying to get an idea where everyone is located. I am in Erwin, TN. This is the old Clinchfield RR. This RR is an engineering marvel. The old depot in Erwin is now the library. |

| Posted almost 5 years ago I'm based out of San Antonio, TX. We cover most of South Central Texas out of our office. San Antonio is considered one of the "crossroads" of the railroad. Before all the mergers, the old Katy Line, MoPac, SouthernPacific, and several other smaller railroads intersected here. We are still the meeting point for about 4 major lines. There is quite a bit of railroad history here. |

| Posted about 4 years ago My partner and I are based in Stockton, CA, and cover Merced, Stanislaus, San Joaquin, east Contra Costa, Plumas, Lassen and Modoc Counties up to the Oregon border on our line (BNSF). Included in that territory are two classification yards, an interchange yard and an intermodal facility, as well as policing duties on a foreign shortline whose road we co-own with Union Pacific. Additionally, we have trackage rights on the UP which potentially adds another twelve counties in northern California as well as the states of Nevada and Utah for major incidents involving BNSF personnel and/or equipment. Fortunately, the latter doesn't come up much... We manage to stay busy with just the BNSF territory on our plate! كافر (Kāfir "Infidel" ) IGITVR•QVI•DESIDERAT•PACEM•PRÆPARET•BELLVM

| Posted about 2 years ago New Jersey Transit is based out of Newark NJ. We have six commands (Newark, Hoboken, Seacaucus, Trenton, Camden, & Atlantic City). We also have our own ESU, K9 (which I'm now in training for), & Detectives. We currently have around 300 officers (New Chief wants to increase to 500). |
