Posted over 2 years ago I am starting this Thread in order to say Goodbye to all of you on Policelink. I have stated my intention to leave if Odin and his wife were not reinstated to the membership and have been advised by the Editor that they will NOT be reactivated. I have greatly enjoyed meeting ALL of you here and I leave with mixed emotions concerning Policelink. The site could be a great tool for LEO's and those who support them, but its current form is too raw for my tastes. I DO NOT wish this to become a Thread of HATE, so I would ask that if you do not care for me or for Odin and his Wife, please refrain from posting in it. I wish all members the best in life and too ALL LEO's, FIRE, and MILITARY on this site I pray for your continued safety. Finally as my friend Odin would have said "Watch your 6!"....My account will I believe be active until the AM of friday 10-05-07 should you wish to leave an e-mail address. |

| Posted over 2 years ago I don't have a dog in the ODIN fight. I can only say this, Cops don't give up. They rise to the occasion. So, those who are quiting I would hope are not cops. If so, cinch that sam brown one more notch and hang in there. |

| Posted over 2 years ago tva448- the last thing I am doing is giving up...true cops honor and stand behind both their friends and their statements...I stand behind my statement to leave if Odin was not reinstated and more importantly I stand behind my friend Odin. I respect the owners right to run his department the way he wants too...he is allowing my account to be deleted and thus I have no more dispute with him. If you don't understand I ask you to respectfully refrain from posting here! |

I needed to live, for a little while, with another loss that I hoped would be avoided at the last hour by the powers that be. I admire you for keeping your promise and for standing by Odin and Mrs. O. Each departure is heartbreaking and feels like a personal failure. Go in peace, Friend. I don't know them But them seem highly respectable people, and I never knew you could get banned from a public site, This is sad. |
