(Vista, CA) -- The wife of a 32-year-old man accused of being drunk when he crashed his vehicle, killing their young son, has pleaded not guilty to child endangerment charges. Prosecutors say 29-year-old Rosa Carachure put her kids in danger when she she allowed her husband to drive when he was intoxicated. The accident happened on May 5th on Interstate-15 in Escondido. Rodrigo Mendoza's blood alcohol level was allegedly .21-percent a couple of hours after the crash. He has been charged with gross vehicular manslaughter. |
