| Posted over 5 years ago Assistant?? Ya mean there's somebody out there that has an ASSISTANT? Since we are larger..there are times we yell out for someone (anyone) to help us out. Like send a hit or call so & so things like that. 'Cause frankly sometimes we are being slammed so hard we can hardly take a breath much less do EVERYTHING!! If I am calltaking I try to help anyone I think really needs help. But there are a few who holler out who are not really THAT busy but are just lazy. Now THAT will piss me off!! |

| Posted over 5 years ago I've never heard of such a position. But a person that takes calls is a call taker. Which in some agencies is a separate position from the Dispatcher. Someone once told me that time is a predator that stalks us all our lives. But maybe time is also a companion who goes with us on our journey, and reminds us to cherish the moments of our lives because they will never come again. |
