Ok fellow K9 handlers.............

I have a new partner, a German Shepherd pup, not even 2 years old yet. He is by far, the largest dog I've ever had. I need to find a better watering system. Right now I have a water heater drain pan underneath his water bowl because when he drinks, he takes on massive amounts of water and splashes it everywhere.

I've tried one of those travel bowls that comes in three pieces but that is ineffective. I've checked in the magazines and have not found a reasonable replacement.

The GSD lives indoors with me and my retired partner (Rotty mix). The Rotty was never sloppy with the water intake.

Any ideas?
