| Posted about 1 month ago I just read the letter and I have to say you are a very lucky man. Your daughter has said so mush with little words. She will go far. I hope that you and your children are doing well. I have a great understanding of your situation. I can only hope that I can excel in the ways you have and that of what your daughter wrote. |

| Posted about 1 month ago WOW. This is truly amazing that this little girl at this age understands that we do put our lives on the line every single day and we dont get the recognition that we should. Its a pleasure to have read this letter from the HEART we really need more little angels like her in this world. |

| Posted 29 days ago That is amazing. As an 18 year old, I am greatful that there are people out there who respect law enforcement who are in the upcoming generation. Please tell her that it is an amazing letter and that I think we should get this to President Obama somehow. |

| Posted 28 days ago ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. You are a great daddy. She learned her selflessness from someone. I wish the best for you and your family. When she becomes a politician please let me know. She already has my vote. If only more children would be as selfless like your daughter. This brought tears just because I have never stopped to think what might be going through my three boys mind when I have to leave in the middle of the night and they wake up and mommy isn't there. I hope you have a wonderful day. Stay strong. And keep doind what you do best. Thank you for the inspiration. ....... Steph346

| Posted 27 days ago Only 35 more thumbs up for this very intelligent young lady, now a "tween" to reach 1000.......bump it up again! I wonder if this will be the first thread to ever reach 1000? "You are part of the night, just like me. We're not afraid of the dark--we come alive in it...we're thrilled by it." GUN CONTROL.......means Hitting your target..... | Posted 27 days ago What an awesome letter from a 10 year old child who has a heart for law enforcement! I totally agree with her about medical coverage and etcetera. We need the same protection as the military veterans because we are fighting on the streets of America against a war on drugs, rapists, murderers, heinous criminals who have the same weaponry as military. The gangs have run the streets and now the terrorists are in full force, so YES I GIVE A THUMBS UP TO THE CHILD OF THE OFFICER AND LET US ALL PRAY FOR HER AND HER FAMILY AND ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT. |

| Posted 22 days ago I have always wondered how children thought of Law Enforcement. I guess she answered my question. I only wished that more kids and adults alike cared as much. |

| Posted 21 days ago Great letter, my thoughts exactly, only I think she put it better....Being a single disabled mom some help with the insurance would have been a Godsend..Although my oldests has his oral review board for my old department next week and my baby just went off to college..He only receives health insurance through me and the city until he is 23...And he's going for his masters degree don't know what I am going to do with him... |

| Posted 16 days ago WOW you truly have one intelligent daughter. I admire you for raising them as a single dad, and am very impressed in the gratitude your daughter had for all the hard work you do for the family. Being a veteran myself, I completely agree with her and I couldn't have expressed it better than she did! I would gladly give half my benefits to a fellow civilian law enforcement agent. I understand the danger may differ depending on your area you work, and you don't have to go to Iraq or Afghanistan like us military do, but you still accepted the job knowing the same things we do: that the job can be very dangerous and may unfortunately take your life. Tell your daughter to keep up the good work, and I am VERY inspired by her!!! |

| Posted 15 days ago I could'nt have said it better myself. This young lady is well beyond her years in understanding. Very well done, keep up the fight, it is a very noble cause. I pray that one of our presidents enacts the needed benefits for our L.E. Officers soon. And thank you for your letter , God bless you and your Dad, and thank you sir for your sevice to your community and this great country. I only hope more young people like you will get into the leadership positions to cause positive changes like this one you have so elequently expressed. Jb4justice |
