| Posted over 2 years ago Sir, it speaks alot of her character in respect and intelligence. You have done an amazing job with your children you should be highly proud she will grow up into one amazing respectful and decent Human being. As a Veteran I salute her as well as you. May God Bless you and your family, and watch over you in time of peril. With utmost respect, Keith |

| Posted over 2 years ago The best part about reading this letter for me is that I can appreciate it from BOTH the war veteran and Police Officer side. She is a remarkable person. One that can and will inspire many. |

| Posted over 2 years ago Awesome letter. As an LEO as well as a Military vet I am very greatful for the thoughfullness of your daughter in wanting the Gov to take care of daddy as well as all his brothers in arms. I'm sure that 10 years later she has turned into a great young adult with a great future. Thanks for sharing this letter with us and thank your daughter. Have a good one!! |

| Posted over 2 years ago You have an amazing daughter!!! Too bad there are not more people like her!!! That letter was very beautifully written, it’s amazing, I would have thought it was written by an adult, if I hadn’t known better. Again you have a fine young lady for your daughter! Thanks for sharing this, and tell your daughter thanks!

| Posted over 2 years ago She is current in college for nursing and political science.. She only received a kids package and a thank you car from Bush. The letter was sent the current president with no reply at all. ( Three times with no reply at all.) |

That's pretty sad! Glad your daughter is doing well! "Government's first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives." - Ronald Reagan

| Posted over 2 years ago Good fer her, I'll stand behind her on this issue, the Law Enforcement need the help too, they need a large building fer both, the vets goes on one side and Law Enforcements on the other side so both types can get the medical help. I have several vetrans in my family and an officer. I give her thumbs up. they would probably lock me up if I sent a letter to the president. colt45 |

| Posted over 2 years ago This is better than a snapshot! Now that se is 10 years older she can write a Bill and present it to Congress...come to think of it, have her take a copy of the letter from 2001 as a "back-up". Seriously, you are blessed to have experienced this with your child! |

| Posted about 2 years ago 2 Thumbs up buddy. You have a very smart young lady. on your hands. She's absolutely right when it comes down to the US taking care of everybody else but not taking care of home first. Take care of our vet's from war and take care our vet's and non vet's who try and help our streets. You and your family stay safe bro...

| Posted about 2 years ago I was a very well thought out letter, simple and staightforward. Too bad our politicians are not as brave and straightforward. No, they are more complicated than a simple young girl, and therefor unable to form a simple opinion or take honest action. I hope some day that she runs for high office and lights the way for other honest and dedicated people to follow. |
